Interesting to me at least:
In the last 11 months, Shopify’s share price is up 14%.
Meanwhile, Shopify’s TTM revenue is up from $509m then to $854m now. (68%)

For a bit of further riffing on SHOP’s numbers:
In Sept. 2017, SHOP was mostly around $120/share. The share count for the quarter ending 9/30/2017 was 98.8 million for an average Sept. 2017 market cap of $11.86 billion. Net cash for the same quarter was $960 million for an enterprise value of $10.9 billion…giving an EV/S of 21.4 as of roughly Sept. 2017.
At present, SHOP is at about $137/share. The share count is 106 million per the June 30th release, giving a market cap of about $14.5 billion. Net cash is sitting at about $1.57 billion for an enterprise value of about $12.95 billion…giving a current EV/S of about 15.2.
The fall in the EV/S ratio makes sense since revenue growth rate is decelerating, but it could be a bit overdone. An EV/S of 15.2 is still pretty high though.
