Lawmakers in Washington gave final approval on Friday to legislation that includes more than nearly $50 billion in emergency funding for Ukraine, only two days after President Volodymyr Zelensky made an emotional in-person appeal to Congress for more and better weapons.
IMO, this is the best kind of support American can give the brave Ukrainian people. Down with the Putin government.

Yes they are part of America the last time I checked.
I’ve been listening to Peter Zeihan on the Ukrainian situation. Back in 2014 he predicted the current war from Russian geography and predicted it’s timing from Russian demographics. One of the things he predicts is that, if Russia is successful in Ukraine, then Nato countries will be next–and since the U.S. can obviously defeat Russian conventional forces, the Russians would resort to Nukes. Therefore, it is imperative that Ukraine win this war.
I’ve ordered his latest book. I find his reasoning somewhat simplistic in his videos, so I’ll see if the book is more nuanced.
