Antidote to Kevin

“When would you be preferring to own this stock?”

Now.

looking forward to earnings and forward guidance next week

The reality is that in 2010, the INFN stock reached a high of $12.83. Six years later, we’ve got an underwhelming 13.5% increase to $14.69.

It was certainly a better buy in 2012 when they were still working on the new technology and folks had lost faith in Infinera. It dipped below $5 in November 2012. That turns the return into something closer to 300%.

So, perspective is definitely important. This one has definitely been a roller coast ride. Not unlike a lot of other small, medium, large or extra-large tech companies…

Monkey

No offense intended but I think even the lowly rodents in the jungle could understand INFN well enough to make lots of money during the time periods in question.

Here’s the question. When you gather bananas do you simply put them in a pile and sit on them? Or in times of abundance do you consume them or sell them for sparkly things you can use to buy other things Monkeys like?

If one simply wisely bought and sold INFN stock as it has fluctuated between points of extreme optimism and being neurotically sold off, you would make tons of money.

A wise old monkey once said, “Ignore the advice of those who tell you to buy and hold your bananas. Smart monkeys should think for themselves”
