According to the article India &/or Vietnam will be the recipients of new production. Apple hopes India will be the origin of 40-50% of new iphones. Vietnam will make airpods, & laptops. Worker turmoil at Foxconn factories has sped up Apple plans.
Young Chinese workers are increasingly unwilling to work for the wages of Chinese factories.
Iphone manufacturing is currently concentrated in China. So the movement from China will take quite a bir of time.
