Here’s a chart NBC which has gained access to internal ICE statistics which shows the top line number at between 10,000 and 15,000 per month. Times 12 months, makes a max of less than 200,000.
But who is surprised to find that administration officials in this administration are lying? Anyone? Anyone? Ben Stein?
(The super cynic in me says they’re tamping down expectations so that when the number comes out, and it’s merely decent, they will proclaim “upside surprise” and be heroes.)

Every since BLS commissioner got fired after reporting disappointing number, I don’t know what to believe. For now, great numbers guys, congratulations!!!
You can announce any number, and eventually revise it downwards…
