While I do not write with AI, I use AI in my marketing approaches extensively. I am beating my competition because of it.
The fear academically is that people wont be trained in analytics. If that is true it is true with or without AI. If your analytic skills are good AI is a heck of a tool.
Yes, AI will probably be part of many office jobs in the future. Rather than fear or banning, we should be educating students to use it to increase productivity. And like the encyclopedia in the good old days, learn to use it responsibly.
…including detecting when it is being used to perpetuate frauds of fact, authorship, and authority.
