China National Offshore Oil Company (CNOOC) is the country’s largest LNG importer. The company just took delivery of its first (of 12) LNG tankers ordered in 2022.
Good timing on CNOOC’s part. Seems reasonable to expect retirement of additional Steam turbine LNG carriers and other less efficient carriers.
