My wife in on our HOA Board. Like a lot of organizations, the Board and HOA office uses Windows. We are Mac people. Linda needs to routinely create fillable PDF forms for both the home owners and internal Board functions.
Any softare recommendations for creating a fillable PDF form on a Mac other than Adobe Acrobat Pro?
So I asked ChatGPT and of course it recommended Adobe first but also offered this:
Preview does not create advanced fillable fields like Acrobat, but you can:
Open the PDF in Preview.
Click the Markup icon (pencil tip).
Use:
Text tool (T) to add fillable-looking text areas.
Shapes for checkboxes.
Sign tool for signatures.
I haven’t tested it yet.
