Like I said, 2024 feels like the late 80s.

Did he ask for a pillow or blanket?

The Captain

Do you have the solution or are you part of the problem?

"The whole flight was very uncomfortable as if I leant back I could still feel the bolt in my head as the pillow was that thin.

It should not be an issue to have all the parts on a passenger seat. Would you be OK with a missing armrest, or eating table? How much discomfort are you willing to put up with?

Then there are the meal issues. How would you like to be on a 12 hour flight and the stewardess says “we ran out of meals, so you go hungry”

Last year, it was reported that British Airways was testing out not loading flights with meals for every passenger to avoid food waste. Previous catering issues have meant that one British Airways flight took off on a 12-hour journey without any meals and had to serve passengers KFC.

From chickens, of course.

Apparently the crew scrambled to get food from a KFC in the terminal before take off. 1 piece of chicken per passenger.
