Executive order updates

Surround every politician with 200’ tall windmills because there is no greater source of moving air than a politician. Especially the White House.

Have your papers in order?

Neither of your parents had a green card?

No, neither had a green card, because they were both born here, and I have certified US birth certificates for both of them.

Steve

So this was never about you.

Well the definitions are good with me. Green cards are good to go.

There are population numbers around the world that have to iron themselves out. If mom has tons of kids somewhere else in the world the grand pubahs need to grow up and spend on educating the moms. We do not need to take care of that business.

Thank God. I was staying away from the coast because I was afraid of catching cancer.

I saw this sort of regime coming, a long time ago, and started getting my papers in order. If the SA comes to my door, I can show them my certified birth certificate from Wayne County, my birth certificate from the hospital, my certificate of birth registration from the city of Dearborn, and my certificate of birth registration from the state of Michigan, and certified birth certificates from the states of Michigan and Pennsylvania for my mother and father, respectively. Mom’s certificate shows both of her parents born in the US. Dad’s certificate shows his parents born in Canada. I have been trying to get his parents naturalization documents from the Immigration Department since last July. Seems the department is somewhat backlogged.

My reminders have been for other people on this board, who may not have read history.

In related news:

I wonder how long we have to wait to see images of churches and schools being raided for the undocumented.

Especially if the raiding is “privatized” to the “Proud Boys” and “Oath Keepers”.

That is why I got my Irish passport two years ago.

It is not that I have to stay here.

All your property would be seized before you are allowed out. I read, somewhere along the line, that some 20% of the German federal budgets in the late 30s were funded by the property seized from people who were deported or put in camps.

Oh, one other document I have: a Bible inscribed to me by the Baptist lodge in Kalamazoo in 1959.

Steve

Once they seize the clothes on his back who is going to wash them so they can sell them?

Very definitely. This is a one of those cases where to make your escape you’d have had to be extremely prescient. If you wait for “the right time” it’s already too late.

iirc, deportees were allowed the clothes they wore, and one suitcase. Everything else: homes, furnishings, businesses, financial assets, became property of the state.

This was not going on in the 1930s…

The foreign exchange (forex) market is the world’s largest financial market, with an average daily trading volume of about $7.5 trillion in 2022. This is 30 times greater than the daily global gross domestic product.

But I am not blind to the daily events. I can also steer income.

1933

March 22 Dachau concentration camp opens

July 14 Law stripping East European Jewish immigrants of German citizenship

1936

July Sachsenhausen concentration camp opens

1937

July 15 Buchenwald concentration camp opens

1938

August 1 Adolf Eichmann establishes the Office of Jewish Emigration in Vienna to increase the pace of forced emigration

October 28 17,000 Polish Jews living in Germany expelled; Poles refused to admit them; 8,000 are stranded in the frontier village of Zbaszyn

November 12 Decree forcing all Jews to transfer retail businesses to Aryan hands

1939

October 12 Germany begins deportation of Austrian and Czech Jews to Poland

Now, just exactly what was not happening in the 1930s?

We are talking about taking money out of the country.

The rest is all a possible nightmare.

I blame Latino males who invite dictatorships everywhere.

I blame conservative women who invite dictatorships everywhere.

Between the two groups the margin of loss of our nation was measured.

Then I blame people who are failures among the white males.

I really want people deported, including those who were the children of illegals.

The reason is simple it is spiralling our country towards authoritarianism if they can vote. I’d like to see many Cubans in Miami deported. The group has not been open to both sides of the debate.

Being closed down to both sides of the discussion is ruinous.

He first hurts who is closest to him. Get deported.

I always say “We should have someone to blame when we fail. It makes the failures much easier to stomach.”

In reply to no particular person;

I think those pardons are going to bite him in the backside in the future. As soon as one of them commits a crime, especially a violent crime, POTUS will suffer the blame. This might happen repeatedly over the next four years.

I think four years of chaos, lawyers, court time, and often jail time is enough. They got the message. Pardon after four years seems reasonable to me.

Otherwise most of the objection is Washington politics as usual. Mostly posturing. Not very significant. Voters don’t care.
