it was screened prior to previews in movie theaters for a few weeks.
It is a shame the copy on YouTube doesn’t have the resolution that I am sure the theater version had, rather than that of TVs of 40 years ago.
It was fantastic in it’s day but a big mistake by Steve Jobs in retrospect, taking on IBM head on in the business market. That’s not how disruption works. There were green fields in art, music, and video that Mac could have targeted instead. Leave boring accounting to IBM. Of course, I say this with 20-20 hindsight. By 1984 I was selling Macs in Caracas.
