Gee, I thought that was a valid topic

My post about Cramer advocating automakers move everything to Mexico and fire all the USian workers, vs threats by (L&Ses) to impose punitive tariffs on Mexican products if automakers did what Cramer was advocating, was tossed.

Gee, I thought that was a valid topic

I’m not sure the word r3trybuti0n is acceptable anymore since it has become politicized.

-also agree that it was a mystery why your post was removed.

Well, the filter that would not let me post the name of a metro Detroit street, VanDyke, with a space after the Van, passed it. There are other article about the same comments, without that particular word.

This article does not have that word, but still talks about the blowback from the industry moving all production to Mexico.

The evening news, tonight, reported another tidbit in the debate Cramer “move everything to Mexico and boot the US workers into the streets”, vs the “thought leader’s” position “if the automakers move everything to Mexico, I will impose a punitive tariff and those Mexican cars will be so expensive no-one will buy them”.

According to this evening’s news, a prominent “thought leader” will take a pass on a discussion with other prospective “thought leaders”, come to Detroit, and speak to the UAW members instead.

Well, there goes the extended analysis I was gonna post about the economics of filming Mary Poppins and Chitty Chitty Bang Bang…

I had a similar issue a month or so ago with another word that the filter blocked. Can’t remember what it was but it was childish on the part of the rule and completely legit in the context of the post.

It is odd. I had always thought I’d be the one getting nixed.

Must be doing something right.

The system now even lets me say, “screwed”. I could not do that for many months.

Screw just checking
