How Low does Tesla have to Go before it Becomes a Buy?

Shares have given up nearly all of their gains that followed the election of Donald Trump.

As suggested here, some time ago, maybe Musk has moved on, and isn’t much interested in the car company anymore?

Wait until the next earnings. The sales are already declining sharply. When they announce the results, and subsequent sale, you may get a washout bottom.

The environment has changed. Now is not the time to rush in on any of the momentum name. if the valuation is not compelling, sit back, wait, patiently.

Consumer preference for hybrids over EVs and increased low cost competition have to suggest slowing growth for Tesla. Efficient, low cost manufacturing is the major advantage. Otherwise investors seem to be counting on the AI investment to succeed.

Adjustment in share price for changes in earnings expectations is no surprise.

What was the adjustment for the Tucker?

I think Tucker bankruptcy answered that question.

Ditto Nikola. Meanwhile Cummins stands ready to provide customers with whatever advanced technology they want to try: hydrogen, natural gas, biodiesel, maybe even electric truck.

Impossible with Tesla, I suppose.

Don’t support this sort of thing, of course, but the word “pitchforks” comes to mind.
