Hi, Sorry but I think I have posted this before… but I don’t know how to search for it! Can someone please tell me, step-by-step how to search for key words WITHIN a message board? I see that the photography board is now closed, but it is still in my favorites… So, once I click on that board, and the board is on the screen, how do I search for a keyword WITHIN that board?
Sorry to be such a dolt, but it seems to me that this is not obvious. Thanks for your help.

Search is one of the functions missing from the TMF discussion boards. Some say it would be an added cost to TMF with little added value. They would rather users post the same questions again as that increases clicks and ad revenue.
Some have been able to search the boards on Google by specifying Motley Fool and your key word.

Is there some way to just view all the posts I have posted?
Thx.
Hi footsox,
Yes, you can do this in your profile. Starting from TMF home page, in the upper right go into “My Fool” or “My Fool Membership”. From that page, in the upper-right corner there is a pull-down called “Account”. In that pull-down, select “My Profile”. On that page, on the upper-right side there is blue text that says “My Profile”. This is a hyperlink. Click it. On that page, near the top below where your screen name appears, there are three tabs. Select the “Activity” tab. In the lower-right portion of this page is a box titled “Boards Stats & Trivia”. At the bottom of that page is a link with a graphic of a push pin next to it that says "Show “'s 10 Latest Posts.” This will show your last ten posts to the boards. In the upper-right you can change the number of your last posts shown. There is a number box to fill in and a “go” button.
I hope this description helps you get there.

I am so glad web design makes it intuitively obvious how to do things.
On any given board, find one of your posts. Goto the list of postings. position your post at the top of the screen and then click author. This will list all of your postings on that board.
