Israelis bombardment of Lebanon kills and injures more than 2000 people

At least 492 people have been killed and 1,645 injured, Lebanon’s health ministry has said, after a wave of Israeli airstrikes on alleged Hezbollah targets that left the country with its highest daily death toll since the end of the 1975-90 civil war.

Tens of thousands of people fled from south Lebanese towns and villages along the main road towards the capital, Beirut, in Israel’s most intense barrage in nearly a year of cross-border clashes, as sirens were also heard in the northern Israeli city of Haifa. The Lebanese health ministry said 35 children and 58 women were among those killed.

Israel says it has hit 1,300 targets in escalating conflict with Hezbollah. On Sunday, Hezbollah launched about 150 rockets, missiles and drones into northern Israel in retaliation for Friday’s strike.

Israel is starting a regional war at Netanyahu’s direction. This will drag US into the regional war to protect Israel with new US military dollars and lives involved. Netanyahu just wants to stay in power and out of jail with wars.

Here I thought this was going to be on Hezbollah bombing innocent Israelis for most of a year.

I thought this was going to be on Sudan, Yemen, Syria, or Somalia. But no Muslims killing each other in huge numbers does not matter much to anyone else.

As of 8 September 2024, at least 20,000 people had been killed and 33,000 others were injured. As of 5 July 2024, over 7.7 million were internally displaced and more than 2.1 million others had fled the country as refugees, and many civilians in Darfur have been reported dead as part of the Masalit massacres.

  • Somali Civil War

Since the 1980s, Somalia has been in a civil war that has resulted in the deaths of between 350,000 and 1 million people. The war has been marked by massacres by rival warlords, Al Shabaab terrorists, and Somali government forces.

The UN announced on 2 June 2022 that the nationwide truce had been further extended by two months. According to the UN, over 150,000 people have been killed in Yemen, as well as estimates of more than 227,000 dead as a result of an ongoing famine and lack of healthcare facilities due to the war.

Not a word, not a thought, no meaning, no caring.

The UN?

The idea here is Jews are the other.

For the Muslims at war the other is on the other side of the next ditch in Sudan, Yemen, Syria, and Somalia.
