Yes, it is alive. Now we just need people to find it.
I love the order entry kiosks that let me put in my order for two hot dogs so easily. I’ve still got my card out from paying for my order. Roll over to a screen, check that there isn’t an an order already in progress, tap Hot Dog twice, click on the pay now, touch my card to the payment box, take my print out. Quick and easy. When I was at a location down in Georgia, one much larger and busier than my local Connecticut location, I watched how they had worked out a way to batch process those orders. Half a dozen tickets would be lines up in some sort of long clip. They would add up how many hot dogs were needed for all of them together, then go into mass hot dog assembly mode rather than back and forth for each order. When they cleared all the orders in that set, they pulled all those papers and reloaded the clip with whatever had accumulated on the printer.
