The notice was originally posted on all boards and got much attention. Now its only on closing boards. The resulting churn seems to be cooling a bit.

Be aware that closing boards will reduce the number of people using the site - and impact the
“population” of the boards left intact.

And will cause avid posters to put more off topic posts on surviving boards.
Change always makes for adjustments. We shall see how it evolves.
