I have the XS Pro Max and it is updating right now to the ios 18 fyi…doc
So I upgraded to iPadOS 18.1 on my M1 iPad Pro last night, and I can’t figure out what new stuff Apple Intelligence is supposed to provide. Siri seems maybe a bit more responsive, but other than that, I can’t see it. I even tried asking Siri what’s new in iPadOS 18.1 directly, and it gave me links to the web.

Guess it’s finally time to upgrade from 17.x on my iPad Pro M2.
I updated stuff early as usual, but also don’t see differences, or at least for my day to day use of Mac Mini, iPhone, watch, but I’ not into gaming n such where some of it is oriented, I guess…
I do see, use, in Photos the new Clean Up option in the Edit menu… It does it really well, even highlights some suggestions, a click and it’s done… It recreates what should have been hidden in the background, pretty clever, making for a fun time going back over older photos where a relative has, for instance, divorced the creep, it makes it easy to vanish him! That alone is noteworthy! One can get lost doing that sort of thing…
iPhone, Watch, nothing so interesting, but I’ve only rarely edited photos on my iPhone, other than maybe cropping…
