On 12/15/2023, AP Maersk made a decision to avoid the Red Sea as a transit route, and sail around Africa. That was while a joint navy fleet was being put together to provide protection/assistance for safe passage (Operation Prosperity Guardian). Apparently, Maersk is in support of the protection/assistance and will resume Red Sea transit. But, an actual date has not been provided
