I think this is great. Federal rules and regulation across the country will make it much easier.
Ayup:
An attempt during the first year of the Biden administration to merge the bill with other legislation faltered when some manufacturers tried to include language that would prevent consumers from suing or forming class-action cases.
The âJCsâ wonât do diddly without government protection against liability when their wizzbangs donât work as advertised.

Some Darwin Award winners have already been identified. Killed by FSD.
Not to mention the millions of users benefiting from the technology butâŚ

We are getting the worst government that money can, and did, buy.
Although the losing side spent more money and didnât get to buy much.

First off, the big money was put up for a different government. But second, in general, we keep electing âbadâ government, but I donât think this would be a good example of it (bad government). Allowing new useful technologies to flourish is one of the rare âgoodâ things that government does.
It can also be one of the many âbadâ things it does. New tech is not always good, or ready.
Easiest and best example of this is likely firearms. âNew technologyâ making them more lethal and less detectible while at the same time reducing regulations on such is in no way is a good thing.
Sure. But in most cases thereâs no way to really know unless you let it progress, at least somewhat. If you stop it dead in its infancy, you will never know if it is good or bad or useful or useless. Worse, some other country WILL determine those things before you and become the leader of the new tech instead. Also, most things have both good and bad aspects, and that includes new technology. The only way to sort it out is to allow it to progress.
Under 2% ⌠within the margin of error of the polls ⌠is not a trounce.
âThought leaderâ puffery aside, it is a win, and not a quirk of the Electoral College, but a legit mandate from over 50% of voters.
By the way, recall my cautions about getting your papers in order? There is considerable chatter that the program TFG put in high gear on the last go around, to revoke citizenship from naturalized citizens, and deport them, will be put on steroids this time.
Buckle up.
Steve
Agreed ⌠but not a trounce or a massive mandate or whatever.
But it is a trifecta. And that makes a big difference.
Oh, and a majority of governors, state houses and state senates.

I am not so sure about that if 2016 is any sign.
As I said âpufferyâ. Pretty typical of the honchos I worked for over the years: they insisted they were always brilliant, knew everything, and were always right. Meanwhile, everyone else was wrong.
Steve
I hear there is some car guy who has been advising the incoming administration. Iâm sure there is no relationship between these two bits of information.
Fortunately we have that for guns and pharma.
Figure this one out.

Require FSD be installed and used on AF1âand all pilots get other assignments on other planes. Problem solved.
