NKTR is dropping. any news moving it?
what is the outlook? any potential catalyst for the stock price to go up?

The IBB biotech etf is down on a pretty bullish day. Furthermore the top losers list is replete with biotech names ( INCY AGIO BGNE SRPT). Absent specific negative news I think it’s general sector weakness. Only news today from NKTR was a collaboration with IsoPlexis Corporation on the functional impact of NKTR-214 at the single cell level, with the goal of revealing the mechanism and potential correlates with outcome.

aside from the general down trend, the biotechs seem to go down more.

not sure why that question triggered such a comment.
It has nothing to do with doing your own diligence or not.
Frankly I don’t give much sway to short term stories but I often read about associations between a stock trajectory and some news or some development directly or indirectly related to the business. So I was interested to hear something.
But you seem to say that most on this board has moved on to NKTR? certainly when it goes down, one is already out before the dive and when it goes up, one has been in there already increasing his or her position. Looks like great timing. wow.

Not until the fall conferences most likely. And who said it was going back up?

They haven’t? There’s nothing going to move this needle until fall conferences with new data. It’s not a Saul stock with growth and prospects for profitability for the next 3-6 months. For short/medium term investors like Saul stocks, this doesn’t have a role in their portfolio except for a micro investment to keep an eye on the space. If folks want to make money between now and September, there’s not really a logical reason to own NKTR.
