This board should stay. It’s a showpiece for investing. An inspiration for newbies – and is a perfect example of how financial matters can turn out right. If the Fool can have the Million Dollar Portfolio, then why not also some actual real millionaires? It would be free advertising for them: “Pay attention to financial matters, invest your money responsibly, and become a millionaire!”

One might argue that the discussion boards are quite effective in developing investment ideas.
However, I do not think I have actually come up with individual company stock ideas from anything
other than the non-financial boards. Sometimes general industry selections have been influenced
from the financial boards - but individual stocks came from delving into individual due diligence.

Many of us have significant amount of our net worth in mutual funds, ETFs, bonds/bond funds, Real Estate, and personal businesses.

I suspect that recognition that most folks disagree with or misunderstand any statement or opinion
I post is one of the truly optimistic points for the growth and evolution of civilization as we
know it.
Course, many folks wonder if civilization is all the it is cracked up to be.
After all, civilization with as many cracks as our civilization has may be a tad off-kilter.
