Yes, and itâs only about 15 miles from Casa del Steve. I hold an annual membership, so anytime itâs a nice day, I can head over and just hang out, watching the Model Ts putter by.
The Village has some special events too.
Promo for the âOld Car Festivalâ that is held each September.
Promo for the âMotor Musterâ that is held every June.
Every Saturday and Sunday during the summer, the Village hosts baseball games, 1867 rules.

âMcDonaldsâ has almost nothing to do with running the restaurants, 93% of them are run by independent franchisees. McDonaldâs makes its money sourcing burgers and fries to the franchisees (and often renting the land the franchise sits on) but not by being in the operational side of the business. (Also true of most Burger Kings.) They also take a skim of gross sales for advertising, etc.
Starbucks, by contrast, and almost universally corporate owned. Exceptions for locations in airports & convention centers under master contracts to specialists, and in-store locations like at Krogers, etc.
I really canât answer why you see so many closures; around here theyâre all open - with the exception of Taco Bellâs, which are only running with the drive-thru open. Again, a local decision by the franchise operator.
Same here in Wisconsin. No problems.

We Ma$$holes can eat anywhere pretty much anytime.
New restaurants and pizza joints and âinsert your fav hereâ joints opening and running daily.
Not a fan of fast food, so never go there, but drive by and see lines of cars and people coming and going.
