Well maybe it’s not as off topic and some would surmise -
Great Britain’s happenings are relevant to the geopolitical state of things, as it is indeed a major economic and military power, a key ally of the United States - and in recent years political happenings there (a la Brexit…) have had an effect on macro economics. In coming months and years as UK finds face saving ways to go Brexit-Lite…this nation and its politics will continue to help shape world economics, trade, etc.
One of the possible replacement is Penny Mourdant and it’s nice to see how much she cares for her constituents, and how passionate she is about the well being of cocks and chicks. Humane treatment of animals - well that shows compassion in someone. As an aside I will say, I used to watch Prime Minister’s questions all the time in the days of Tony Blair and Iain Duncan Smith. For no reason in particular - if Ms Mourdant happens to be the new PM - I’ll be tuning in again. Oh yeah, I’ll be watching for sure.
