Heard this story on, I believe, NPR yesterday. It was all because of a shooting at the fair last year.
What’s one little shooting, especially in Texas anyway? What are these organizers thinking?

I used to tease DesertDave about living in such a repressive state as Texas. In Michigan, if you are an CCW holder, you can open carry in most places. Guns in a bar. What could go wrong? Loitering in front of a school with a loaded assault rifle. How dare anyone object?
