We saw it in Michigan in 2020, some areas effectively telling Lansing “you’re not the boss of me” and refusing to abide by covid regs.
Now, Lansing is trying to enact some gun reform, and local authorities are carrying on the same way, again.
When I was a manager at Radio Shack, company policy prohibited the carrying of weapons, in the store, by employees. Will companies see their internal policies overridden by local authorities, who, for instance, defend an employee’s “right” to carry a gun in the workplace, and sue a company for not allowing it? Seems we have enough workplace shootings as it is. What if it became routine for employees to be armed in the workplace, when a fight over a parking space breaks out…yeah, I know, the NRA will assure us a “good guy with a gun” will shoot the shooter.
