There is a Russian Orthodox church on the west side of Ann Arbor. Each September it hosts a Russian festival. I went to their festival in 2018. Some nice music. Ethnic foods that I didn’t go anywhere near. Kids running around chattering in Russian. And some really creepy stuff, like a t-shirt with a pic of Putin doing his hairy he-man thing on horseback, with a camo jacket.

Wonder if they will have their festival this year, or will one of the 50,000-odd Ukrainians in metro Detroit express themselves on that church?

Don’t know about the Russian Orthodox, but the Greek Orthodox has great food at their celebration and ouzo.

I peeked into the food tent, saw the signs for each item. Only thing I recognized at all was borscht.
