The invasion of Panama will be a negotiating tactic, to scare Mexico, Canada, and Greenland to come to the negotiating table.

Delusional thinking!!! The USA egregiously invaded both Mexico and Canada in the past, insisting that they were “really” USAian, and that has not been forgiven nor forgotten in either place.
Most Mexicans have a wary affection for the USA. Trump would dump the affection and push the wary up to Iraqi style horror show street fighting.

Probably does not surprise you that you are not the first to say that. 
The agendas for the three “arty deals” are different:
for Mexico: toss the Chinese out. Prevent brown people coming north. Accept the brown people the US wants to toss out. The US of today would not want Mexico to be part of the US, because it’s full of brown people.
for Canada and Greenland, sure be part of the US, because the populations are mostly white. Being parts of the US would expedite the looting of the country’s resources.
Before Mexico gives the US what it wants, Panama would serve a secondary function as the dumping ground for US deportees, the same way the previous UK government hatched a plan to dump deportees in Rwanda.
