Relative incomes of various ethnic groups

In 1980, White men without a college degree had an income 7% higher than the average American. Today they’re 12% below average while Asian females earn about 35% above average.

Lesson here is that even a passing familiarity with arithmetic has the potential to improve your earning power – don’t celebrate ignorance and innumeracy.

So, the natural response by the group left behind is to start passing laws to knock down everyone else. Because knocking down others is easier.

Funny because npr was used a few years ago on how Asian females don’t got promoted

That’s a good description of Communism without the camouflage.

Unions —————> Not unions.

What could have happened in 1980 that started the trend? Hmmmm.

As a percentage, union membership in the US peaked in 1954, more than 25 years before the “start” of the trend.

It is even bizarre that “college educated” people want student loan forgiveness from the “non college educated” folks.

Or maybe from the “JCs”, who were handed the money that states used to use to fund higher education? :^)

That is not true. Stop torturing yourself.

College should be heavily subsidized for our country to get ahead.

Trade schools should be close to free.

Crying about people getting ahead is garbage.

The reasons college should be heavily subsidized is for economic growth.

Tax cuts never happen. The promises are rubbishy. Any excuse to destroy our country’s economy is used.

Hold on the tax cuts do happen for billionaires. Quick check your back account.

The JCs are split in several ways. Some want higher taxes grudgingly. They know it is an investment in our country. Others are shortsighted and want a tax cut.

At the end of the day they are evenly split cancelling each other out. The economic cycle has more to do with what the country ends up doing.

It probably depends more on whose front person gets elected. When a Shiny was Gov of Michigan, taxes on the working poor and pensioners were raised, so the money could be given to the “JCs”. Now that the state has a Commie Gov, the tax increases on low and moderate income people are being unwound.

supply side econ v demand side econ.

Sometimes the timing is not in phase with the needs of the economy but the public has some idea what is needed.
