Seeing new messages

Over half the time when I click to see new messages in a topic, it shows me an OLD message - sometimes weeks old. Then after I scroll down past all the old messages, sometimes there are new messages at the bottom and sometimes there’s something I can click in order to make hidden messages visible.

When I click to see new messages, I expect to see new messages. Not old messages. And not something else I can click to see new messages.

That’s because we migrated everything over and the system thinks it is new so it starts you at the top of the message. Once you’ve been in a message, it knows where you stopped reading and will jump you to that post. It’s just part of the migrations - it will work it’s way through in a few days.
