This shows your lack of understanding. Google doesn’t hire H1B directly, rather they contract-hire, i.e., they take workers through contract firms. There are many positions in Bay area for which companies pay hourly rate that is like $75 ~ $85 per hour. Now, after the contracting firms profit, overhead, payroll taxes, etc you can figure out how much the individual gets it.

Everyone talks about the guys who are directly hired by Google, obviously they are paid much higher salary, rsu, etc. Those are also top talent. Not every h1-B is a top talent.
