Sonoma County has been my home for all of my time… I’m inland, a little, but a half hour takes us to the Coast, a few hours to the Sierras, or an hour to the SF Bay area… In a Facebook Group, or my own wanderings, photographers, hobbyist catch the little gems around us that we tend to take for granted, going about or jobs, shopping, raising our families. We had a bit of a surprise with the Northern Lights, Aurora, showing here in Sonoma county last week… Never in my life have they appeared, or at least that I was aware of, , the next two nights were not visible, our summer fog rolled in, obscured them… Very faint to the eye, but the iPhone 15’s camera, low light mode (flash off) brought these out…
