5.25" or 3.5" Disks?

I have both (SS/SD, SS/DD, DS/SD, DS/DD)–all soft-sector. Never used hard-sector media.

How could you omit the 8" disks?

How could you omit the 8" disks?

Only time I used those it was not “sneaker netable” it was a mini/mainframe that had a couple drives in it.

We did a lot of sneakernet with 3.5" disks late 80s early 90s. Had a couple of computers at home that uses 5.25, the 3.5 disks.

“Dial-up 1200 baud”
“NSA Guest Login”

So many possibilities. Another list of 75 witty names here - https://www.tech21century.com/best-wifi-ssid-names/

No, too many things would need to be re-logged in, drip system, thermostat, various other iPhones, iPads, MBA, and all the family, friends, the next time they are here…

But the variety of names was a kick, way back when doing that initial setup, too concerned with making it all work to mess about…

At my old condo there was FBI Surveillance that showed up. At my new home, one of our neighbors has UseThisOneDad and another Snoopy.
