I discussed the Chevy Equinox with my mechanic. It is something like $129k depending on which website you are on. He said it is really bad. He told me to stay away from the Ford equivalent, worse.
Those two $129k cars are worth less than $60k. The corporations are really beating up the consumers. More people are working remotely. It will be odd to lose your job, have a lease on $129k vehicle and live 50 miles from civilization. Smooth move exlax.
I think that the traditional car market is changing rapidly. I have had several Audi’s but have been disappointed with the build quality of the latest one. I’m not the only one as Audi sales in Q1 2026 are down 30% yoy and the parent company is struggling:
It will be interesting to see who will dominate the car market in future. I can’t see the Chinese dominating but you never know
