I found that to be an extremely solitary pursuit. There were no clubs to join. Money and retirement seemed to be like the weather. Everybody talks about it but nobody does anything about it.
You need to get over on Reddit. The FIRE group has 2.2 million members. It’s even more popular than the RetireEarlyHomePage Discussion Forum in the early 2000’s, before TMF realized there wasn’t a business model in discussing “Skim-free” retirement investing.
