She apparently shot her father dead at age 13.
I wonder if she used a Veterinary pistol?

That is tragic. I remember a kid cleaning a shotgun when he was young and having it go off and kill his brother. The kid never got over it. I am glad she was able to over come it and become a productive citizen.
