SWKS afterhours

Skyworks is down another 4% afterhours because Qorvo and Cirrus Logic have both issued calendar Q4 warnings after the bell, and indicated calendar Q1 sales will also be soft. The warnings come in the wake of reports indicating Apple has cut iPhone production and component orders.

Qorvo (QRVO) was halted after the market close, as the wireless chip vendor lowered its third-quarter outlook.

The company now expects to log revenues of $620 in the quarter, down from a previous range of $720 million to $730 million. Analysts are expecting $723 million.

Qorvo blamed the weaker sales on anemic customer demand in its mobile products segment.
