Tariffs working here

Odd timing that. Per the article, work started on the factory expansion last June. Which means permits would have been applied for at least several months before that. Which means architects and engineers would have been onboarded and working several months before the permit applications were filed. Which means that the decision to expand the factory was almost certainly made in 2023 .

Not only well before the tariffs were announced, not only before the Presidential election, but before even either political party had selected their nominee.

Yeah, color me a bit suspicious that this was a decision that was affected by the tariffs or even the possibility of them, rather than a choice that was made irrespective of whether tariffs were going to be imposed.
