If this continues, it will be essentially unliveable for humans–and there will be a massive migration out of the area. Where to go? Good question. And it is not limited to India–or just Asia.
Using fossil fuels for energy is causing the problem. India uses lots of coal, oil and natural gas for energy. They want less global warming, but they are warming the globe by burning fossil fuels.
This isn’t the first time El Nino’s been making mischief in India
'El Niño, which caused the ocean temperature to rise, and a high-pressure system that blocked moist sea breeze from the Bay of Bengal and Arabian Sea, saw record high April temperatures in many parts of India this year. ’

However, the worst is apparently over:
'The current spell of ongoing El Nino event in the Pacific Ocean is expected to get completely over in the next couple of months, minimising chances of a hit on the earlier part of the Indian monsoon this year.
The latest monthly outlook on the El Nino Southern Oscillation (ENSO) system by the Climate Prediction Centre of the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) of the United States says ENSO-neutral conditions are expected to prevail between April and June and a La Nina likely to emerge thereafter.’
OSHA is ready to implement new rules governing how employers manage deadly temperatures in the workplace. Farm workers, commercial kitchen help, etc. among the most affected.
Giant pushback from industry who see this as a threat to excessive Executive Compensation while the workers affected are easily replaceable.
Late stage crony capitalism meets climate change.

This is not just India that is suffering heat extremes which are becoming normal. You are just trying to downplay climate change caused by carbon burning of coal, oil, and nat gas. We are in temperature extremes that have huge global impact.
I wonder if the Gov in Florida will insist he has authority to override OSHA regs, the way he passed a law to override local ordinances about providing water and cool-down breaks to employees?

The States that have failed to do the Obamacare Medicaid expansion are also the ones most likely to deny workers water and shade during a heat wave.

Those El Niños seem to be increasing in frequency.
Recent research shows that warming has led to more frequent and extreme El Niños. The new study, said Wilcox, reveals that “climate change may have led to a climatic tipping point being crossed in the 1970s with the initiation of a more permanent El Niño pattern.”
El Niño is over and…
India’s monsoon rains hit four-year high in boost to crop output

India on Saturday lifted curbs on exports of non-basmati white rice. That came a day after New Delhi cut export duty on parboiled rice to 10%, buoyed by a new crop in the offing and higher inventories in state warehouses.

Wasn’t the last La Nina mild? Meaning no impact, as if El Nino was in play anyway?
This spring we finished a moderately strong El Niño (5/23-4/24). Before then we double-dipped with two La Niñas in a row (8/20-5/21 and 8/21-1/23).

We’ve probably gone from 3 feet of snow in my area to 6 inches of snow for the entire winter.
That is by observation. I do not have the numbers.
La Nina or El Nino makes no difference.
adding yep it is scant snow fall.
