The fee is for FSD. Plus 20 characters.
The car has to be able to enably the feature(s) to be addedâor they are of no value to the vehicle owner. Not all Tesla cars can use all the features to be downloadedâjust the ones that can be used by that particular car.
FSD can be used by all Teslas with HW3 and HW4.

Free vehicle upgrade (add whatever is needed) to HW3/4 for all vehicles before HW3 !!! Or else OTA upgrades are pretty much wasted bandwidth to older cars (pre HW3/4).
Thought 1:
Iâll be happy to take that horrible car off your hands. I happen to like the Odyssey. Well designed, well built, reliable, easy to find good quality service when needed.
Thought 2:
Thatâs exactly how I feel about the Tesla screens. At least in the Model 3, which is the only one I have enough experience in to have developed an opinion.

Theyâre all pretty much the same in Teslas. And you get used to it in less than a month. Thatâs my issue with Honda, I never got used to it, and it is clearly deficient in most ways. Other than that, I love Hondas. Iâve owned at least one Honda at all times for 35+ years out of my adult life, starting with my '72 Civic hatchback.
That also carries over into their Acura models. No idea what they were thinking,
And no touch screen, itâs a touch pad.
Itâs constantly discussed all over the place. Nobody can figure out why such a good carmaker refuses to improve their infotainment systems.
Hereâs a new feature you can have if youâre willing to pay for it .
To be clear, the car already has the batteries. You just need to pay extra to unlock the ability to use it. Another $1500/$2000 for the privilege. This is the BMW heated seats imbroglio writ large.
Yeah. Put this one in the âsubscription all at onceâ plan.

Tesla plans to charge some Model Y owners to unlock more range - The Verge
In fact itâs OLD news, it was talked about years ago. Not sure if it was about this feature but Tesla figured it would be cheaper to install the feature and disable it with software than to retrofitted when requested.
Sorry, no link.
