Hybrid anode material advances lithium-ion battery technology

This is just another break through. Its great and if it makes it to production we will see it in 4 years. If other advances don’t swamp it. Battery tech is moving fast.

What I find interesting is the collaboration. This was developed by two Korean universities. There was no Western university input at all. This was never the case 10 years ago. I noticed cross hemisphere collaboration about a decade ago, maybe longer. Today it seems the west is no longer involved.

Seems like a massive over interpretation on a single case, almost as if, were it not done in the US (at least partially), it can’t amount to anything.
