Does anyone know where the Pandemic Board may have moved to?

Hi, Sheila. Sadly, the Pandemic Board is no more. A couple months ago, in preparation for a major overhaul of the TMF Community discussion boards, all the non-financial boards were closed down. Despite presenting some compelling arguments of the financial impact of the pandemic, the board did not receive a reprieve.

Who notes there may be an opportunity down the road to create a new board for the impacts of global macro economic events, but it wouldn’t be the same (or as fun) as directly discussing the state of the pandemic…

Yes, it moved to Discord. It’s ran by a TMF’r here by the name of Canonian. There are lots of other boards there as well. Everyone there is from TMF.

Who is surprised that CMF_Fuskie did not tell you himself. He is over there all the time looking at all the different boards.
If you don’t see a board you would like to have added, just DM Canonian over there and he will add it. Here is a list of what is there currently. You can post pictures directly and you can edit you posts after you submit it on the boards.

I realize that. My recall, though, is that someone had mentioned an option for establishing discussion boards, and there was talk of migrating there. At the time I was overwhelmed with the work that had just begun in my apartment to recover from our hurricane Ida flood damage. I brilliantly hadn’t made a note of the name and URL, and when I tried going back through posts, I couldn’t find it. I so miss the rich source of information and insight about something so incredibly important! So I was hoping that someone here has been part of the migration and could clue me in.

Re CMF-Fuskie…I had recalled that he had spoken of this, but even so, I couldn’t find it. Maybe my focus was simply shot from how crazy my life has been for a while. Finally getting some breathing room.
