Trump announces $500 rebate checks for Obamacare overcharges

You only get the check if you’re in one of the 30 states that uses the healthcare.gov website. If your state has their own health insurance exchange, you’re out of luck.

The last couple of years I was on Obamacare, I paid a premium of $1.43/month – $17.16 per year. Then I got a check for $632 because my Obamacare insurer failed to spend the required 80% of premiums collected on actual medical care instead of “skim, scam and fraud”.

And I almost threw out the check, believing it to be another piece of Medicare Advantage junk mail – and another example of the poisonous effect of Medicare Advantage.

I love the irony of how just this week, and in the OP, we are told if we defeat socialism, we will be rewarded with more socialism (these checks or the latest $5000 check promise).

Laughing all the way to the bank buddy. I mean, we got tariff rebate checks, and then we got DOGE rebate checks.

You can saw what you want about the current administration, but when they promise checks, they deliver.
