Let’s see how long the 25% tariff on Canadian electricity to the US remains–until it is upped to 50% (or more).
It was reduced to zero yesterday.

And then reversed again on steel and aluminum.
Haven’t heard about a second flip-flop. Do you have a link?

Flop, meet flip.
Anything that can be shipped by rail, Canada can sell to someone else, without being subjected to TIG’s abuse, threats, and jive. Only problem is getting the oil and gas out of the country. If they start laying pipe now, the line to Saint John can be done before TIGs current term is up.

This guy…
Tariffs or no tariffs, we will see peak “Buy Anything But American” for finished goods. Consumers in other countries have a growing animosity that won’t be changed easily nor quickly, even if tariffs are dropped.
Can’t be. In TIG’s world, everyone is purely „transactional“.
As far as I know, Provincial Premier Ford is holding the power tax suspended. Meanwhile, Canada has imposed more tariffs at the national level.
When TIG was speculating in real estate, did he deal with very large contractors, or smaller operators, who could be bullied, without them pushing back?
