65 years ago today, I started working at the Western Electric Kearny Works. I retired from AT&T in 1995.

55 years ago, I turned down a job offer there. Not enough pay and wasn’t in radio. Went to work for Motorola, later GE Mobile Radio…then into cellular/PCS…
Retired at 52.5.
