Peace surely has not broken out. I do not think it will unless war becomes unprofitable to the deep state, and surely that will not be soon.

Yes. IIRC, he referenced John Williams’ Shadow Government Statistics web site. Much of the data there is behind a paywall, but some very interesting graphs of his statistics are open to the public. The inflation one is here:
