Could be the reason that the model 2 has been postponed & full speed ahead on RoboTaxi FSD.
Google’s Waymo already has Gov’t approval for robotaxi operations in several cities. I’d say Tesla is behind.

Hyundai is testing self-driving Level 4 in two Chinese cities now: (That’s geo-fenced FSD within those cities.)

I’m not sure why these “software enabled” cars of various stripes and software packages will shrink down to the one or two, as we have seen in the duopoly of cell phones. That hasn’t happened with TV operating systems or with game systems or lots of other things that are software enabled.
