Hi, I’ve never run into this before. My internet is working hardwired but Wi-Fi stopped working today. I’ve unplugged and plugged back in the modem/router and rebooted the computer. No luck.
Any thoughts on this? It’s a Netgear modem I bought 4 years ago.
I’m thinking of just biting the ripoff bullet and renting one from Mediacom for $15/month.
Thanks.

On Spectrum I would also reboot the whole system. That means turning power off then on to the main dvd box.

The NetGeqar Model number might help investigate…

Thanks. But I just figured it out after three hours. After reset, they don’t inform me that I now need to change the password. But after Googling, that’s what I found out.
Thanks, Rick

Are you saying that the netgear router wouldn’t work because you needed a new password? Just curious…doc
That is correct. Because I did a reset of the modem due to the wifi stopping working for some reason. I tried the usual unplugging, rebooting, stuff and when that didn’t work, I took a bent paperclip and did a full reset. That requires a new password.
