Musk intermittently or when taking over a business swoops in and lays waste the number of employees. Then exhorts the survivors to greater heights of unpaid overtime to achieve near impossible goals.
Or in the case of FSD impossible goal.
Likely most of those firings result in higher stock valuations rewarding the Musk.
I noticed that, watching bubblevision over the years. When a company announced another big headcount reduction, the stock soared.
One place I worked had a RIF every year. It certainly motivates the survivors to keep their yap shut, and work like a rented mule.
