I just had a benign post on the EV automaker BYD apparently pulled for the use of {{15-characters}}

Please repost it. BYD is having a serious macro impact on the world.

Between CATL mass storage and BYD cars you are seeing (not will see) a transformation of the economies of the global south. (What used to be called the third world.)

Think of this micro economic situation. In Grenada electricity is typically made from diesel fuel or maybe bunker fuel. The cost is very high. With solar plus storage it has been been more economical to have solar plus storage for several years, maybe a decade.

Add into this that all motor fuels are imported in their refined state. So motor fuels are expensive.

Then add in that there is no mass transit in a traditional sense. There are small 9 to 11 passenger buses that have a driver and a conductor. These make up the mass transportation in Grenada. It works well but it uses a lot of fuel. Fuel that takes dollars out of the Grenada economy and that effects the trade balance.
